I am a science illustrator with a background in ecology and environmental science. I strive to explain natural science through visuals that are clear and aesthetically appealing. I am open to a broad range of commissions, including scientific figures and diagrams, interpretive panels, field guide illustration, watercolor landscapes, and tattoo design. I especially enjoy collaborating with scientists and educators to effectively communicate their research and knowledge.
After completing the Science Illustration graduate program at California State University Monterey Bay, I interned at Mount Rainier and Badlands National Parks, where I illustrated interpretive panels and educational materials for visitors. Illustrations included botanical field guides, scenes of forest ecology, geological cutaways, and paleontological reconstructions. I have since continued my practice by creating diagrams for scientists as well as personalized art pieces for individual clients and businesses.
